Fruit Stand with Sari-Sari Store

Until recently, it was difficult to buy fruit outside the markets and in a specific place, as well as the supermarkets. Now, fruit stalls are sprouting up on arterial roads and also in barangays. Sometimes they are attached to a larger sari-sari shop or neighbourhood shop.
Single varieties of fruit directly from the producer are also often sold from small multicabs or trucks directly on the roadside. These are then the fruits of the season, such as watermelons. The same applies to vegetables. With this measure, the producers eliminate the middleman and receive a higher profit for a little more work.
