FARMER’S MARKET at J R Borja Street in CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY
The days of the former farmers’ market on Osmena Street in Cagayan de Oro, Northern Mindanao, are over.
A new farmers’ market has established itself on J.R. Borja Extention.
We love to shop there and there are several reasons for that. Here, the producers sell directly to the customers, thus bypassing the middlemen and earning a slightly higher profit, which the farming families can really use. In addition, the produce is fresh and there is often the time for a little chat.
For us personally, another reason is the evening atmosphere of the carneval.
