JEEPNEY RIDE – CDO TALAKAG | Waiting for Depature

We have something to do in Talakag, Bukidnon. I take this as an opportunity not to go by car, but at least the way there by one of the big overland jeepneys.

We are already before 9am at the Carmen market and look for such a jeepney. We find the jeepneys after the various out-of-town barangays diagonally across from Carmen Market on Castro Street. The next jeepney leaving for Talakag is not there yet, it is supposed to be on its way and leave around 10 am. Such information is very often not true and should be. Eventually our jeepney came, but the departure was around 11am with some other jeepneys.

In the meantime I had a lot of time to watch the hustle and bustle in the stores, at the jeepneys, on the street and the many vendors.

So come along and see what I was able to capture with the camera.
