JEEPNEY RIDE – Cagayan de Oro City to Talakag | The Trip

After hours of waiting, our jeepney to Talakag finally left around 11 am. Around the Carmen market, it was slowly felt forward, since still perhaps a few passengers could appear. Shortly after the Cagayan de Oro College, we then drove into a traffic jam, through which our driver struggled slowly hinduch.

When we reached the SM Mall in uptown, the traffic became less and from Lumbia we drove on the N 945 with little traffic. Quickly we reached the Macahambus Cave and a few meters further the Macahambus Gorge. Both are popular excursion destinations near the city. The treetops that protrude from the gorge, right next to the road, belong to trees about 30 meters high. The cave and gorge have local historical significance. Soon, the city limits and provincial border on the Cagayan River with the old bridge is reached. Now we are in Bukidnon province and not far from Talakag.

The municipality has a rural character and everything here revolves around agriculture. I tell the driver where to stop and we can get off right in front of the ORO INTEGRATED COOPERATIVE.

After making our appointment here, we will head to the GABS CARINDERIA on the main road for lunch and say hello again.

After that, I’ll take some time to explore the Plaza, Municipality Hall and the streets around the market area. The video will follow in the next few days.

Hier noch einmal der Link zu dem Video ├╝ber unsere Wartezeit mit Eindr├╝cken rund um den Jeepney terminal auf der V. Castro Street in Carmen.
