Town Plaza of Tagoloan in Misamis Oriental

Even the smallest communities have a PLAZA. This is usually found near the town hall. This is also where the statue of Dr. Jose Rizal, which belongs to every municipality and town, is often found, where tributes are held on Independence Day and on the anniversary of the death of the Philippine national hero.
Being a ‘Knight of Rizal’ myself, I have made it a habit to visit this statue every time I visit a place for the first time or have not visited it on previous visits.
These places are popular with the locals during their leisure time, especially with students from the surrounding places of learning, as these places often have old trees with cool shade.
The plaza of Tagoloan, in Misamis Oriental, Northern Mindanao is separated from the small Rizal Park by the access road to the church.
