OPEN AGAIN! GARDENS of MALASAG ECO TOURISM VILLAGE – Cagayan de Oro City

 

The GARDENS of MALASAG ECO-TOURISM VILLAGE have been returned to their regular use after more than 2 years of use as a COVID-19 Centre and are once again available to the entire population and tourists in new splendor under the motto COMMUNE WITH NATURE.

On a total area of 2.2 ha in Sitio Malasag, in barangay Cugman, in Cagayan de Oro City, in Northern Mindanao in the hills are the botanical gardens, wildlife habitat, and an opportunity to get to know the tribes of Bukidnon better. The LUMAD produces tribal jewelry, wickerwork, and weavings here and offers them for sale.

An open-air cafe provides visitors with drinks, snacks, and meals with a magnificent view over barangay Cugman, Macajalar Bay, and the mostly haze-covered island of Camiguin.

There is an entrance fee of 50 pesos per person, with another 50 pesos payable when using the swimming pool.
