Kids with Decency and Respect

Something that has become rare in western-oriented countries happened to me while filming in a barangay of the city of Cagayan de Oro.
I had just walked through the small market and past the food stalls and then ended up in the covered square of the barangay hall with the obligatory basketball court when I found two little girls there eating ice cream.

One of the little girls came up to me, reached out and grabbed my hand and brought it to her forehead for the respectful ‘amen’ that is customary here.
