Living on the River above the Water

Where others have a bicycle and motorbike parked in front of their house, the people on the river have an outrigger boat for paddling and a boat with an outboard motor lying on the water.
This is a small river that runs through a nipa palm forest parallel to the coast, separated only by a narrow headland, just before the mouth of the Cagayan River, in the city of Cagayan de Oro there it joins the river.
Here, some people live in the nipa forest, which can only be reached by boat. Although we are in the middle of the big city here, it is an idyllic place.
